Lucky Devil all the way! It's the nicest of any of the places here - not too dark, bathrooms are great. It's just a classier atmosphere than anywhere else in town.

Go to Mary's downtown. Only the classiest of strippers work that pole. Ask about the mail in rebate promotion.

I vote for Union Jacks. While Devils Point is a great club they do have the distinction [no pun intended] of having probably the nastiest mens bathroom in Portland since Dugos on Burnside closed, and thats saying something. Don't know about womens bathroom. The creep factor in any strip bar is more about the time of day you go than the club. If you just are going to check out the place without a roomful of rowdy drunk men go in the late afternoon, early evening [around shift change] Almost any strip club will be less creepy than midnight on a Friday or Saturday.

You might also want to think about checking out one of Portland's many burlesque shows. Better vibe, all around.

I second Devil's Point/Lucky Devil (same owners, both in SE).

Also, buy your lady a private dance!

Devil's Point is kinda cabaret-style and not too creepy, I don't think.
